THE JEANS THAT ARE LONG ENOUGH

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I can’t believe it’s already April… where did the time go? Although, I’m not complaining… we’re one day closer to being done with COVID 19 and we’re one day closer to summer. I hope you have found something to smile at today, and are enjoying this time of unknownness as much as possible.

Today’s post is all about jeans! Jeans, jeans, jeans, and more jeans. I love a good pair of denim, as I know you do too. We all have our favorite pair of jeans that we reach for over all of our other jeans. I love when I score on a good pair of denim jeans, so I’m showing you four different pairs of jeans that range in price, color, fit, and length. Let’s dive in!

This first pair is from J.Crew and are my favorite pair of dark wash jeans. They were a bit spendy for a pair of denim, but also not totally outrageous. I purchased a 26 TALL Curvy, meaning there’s a bit more room in the hip/thigh area, but still fit perfectly in the waist. The TALL option is also a big seller for me. Sometimes I can get away with REGULAR jeans, but I try to opt for TALL when the option is there. These jeans are a dream. I’m also wearing them here and here in a different wash.

This second pair are classic ol’ Levi’s. Who doesn’t have a pair of Levi’s in their closet? These are the 721 High Rise Skinny Jeans in TGIF – Medium Wash, size 27×30. They are so comfortable, hit right above the ankle, the perfect wash, and very flattering. These are definitely the pair of jeans I reach for the most, just because they fit like a glove and go with everything (meaning, they’re not too light or too dark). They are also only $60!

These Madewell jeans I’ve had for years now. I know the price tag of Madewell can turn people away, but I’d rather invest in a good pair of denim that will last me years, rather than a cheap pair that I constantly have to replace. These are the Madewell Perfect Vintage Jean: Comfort Stretch Edition in a 25 TALL. These jeans have a slight stretch, but nothing that will stretch out with wear. The Perfect Vintage Jean comes in a million different washes, and look so flattering on everyone. I’m also wearing them here and here.

The last pair of denim I wanted to share are extremely affordable, and seem to hold up nicely. I’ve had these jeans for about a month now and I’m super impressed with them so far. They are the Embrace High Ankle Jeans from H&M – size 27. Under $60, they seem to hold their shape and the length is perfect. They hit right at my ankle and I like the raw hem detail. They have a lot of stretch, and hug your bottom half nicely. I’m really happy with these jeans so far!

I have piles of jeans, but these four are in my constant rotation. It can be a pain to find jeans that are long enough for me, but I’m noticing more and more retailers offering TALL (and petite) options, which is great! If you’re interested, here are a list of some retailers I like that sell longer inseam options: Madewell, J.Crew, Abercrombie & Fitch, Levi’s, ASOS, H&M, American Eagle, Topshop, and Gap.

I hope this post was helpful for those taller gals out there who struggle finding denim that is long enough! However, with ankle jeans becoming more desirable and in-style, needing to find jeans that are “long” enough isn’t as huge of an issue as it used to be.
