We’ve made it to Friday, friends! TGIF! This past weekend I was finally able to wear my new high rise denim shorts that I snagged from the LTK sale. They’re seriously so good, and you can’t beat the price.
Justin was actually out of town for a golf tournament this weekend so I was on puppy sitting duty until Monday! Much like children, as fun as they are for an amount of time, it’s always refreshing to give them back to their owners, ya know? I never realized how selfish I was with my time until I had to share it with a four-legged friend. I guess you could say I’m not ready for my own dog just yet… or children, for that matter!
If you follow me on IG, we recently bought an air fryer and my entire cooking habits have changed. Broccoli? Air fry. Potatoes? Air fry. Uncrustable? Air fry. I don’t think I can ever go back to plain, ol’ baked veggies. Once you go crispy, you never go back! Another appliance I caved and bought was the Dyson Air Wrap. I’ve seen this tool on IG for quite some time, and after my Revlon blow dry brush crapped out, I decided to invest in the air wrap. I’ve still been messing around with it, but I’m impressed so far. All the fancy attachments aside, that thing blow dries my hair so fast it’s astonishing. Give me a few more weeks to play and I’ll make a post sharing my thoughts!
I am officially 4 weeks out from my half marathon and I’m so ready to be done. Because I picked up running during COVID, this will be my first in-person race and I’m both excited and a tad nervous. I think having the energy of fellow runners will pump me up, but I also don’t want to be the one that’s left behind in the dust. Regardless of emotions, I’m just glad to be training in consistently nice weather now that spring is here. You can always read about my running journey under the “personal” category of this site, or click here.
Every other Thursday I share recent purchases of mine on IG stories. After realizing that I don’t always keep what I share, I decided to make a monthly blog post series where I share items I’ve not only ordered and loved, but have been routinely using. This will be your resource for all products I’m truly obsessed with. Stay tuned!
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend, and I’ll see you back here next week. Xx, E
