Well, it’s that time of year again! Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale officially kicks off today for Icon cardholders. Not an Nordstrom Icon member? Don’t worry! The sale will continue to open to the remainder cardholders over the next couple weeks until the sale is open to the entire public on 7/28.

It’s important to note, too, that you can only shop the early access if you have a Nordstrom retail or Visa credit card. This is something I was personally unaware of my first year of blogging, and was bummed to find out I couldn’t shop because I don’t have a Nordstrom credit card.
If you don’t have a Nordstrom credit card, don’t worry too much. As shown above, the entire sale opens to everyone on July 28. This is when I’ll be shopping myself, and I’ll be sure to update you along the way as stuff sells out or restocks.
Now, let’s dive into my sale picks for this years sale! Unlike last year, I kept this years picks to under 25 items to alleviate anyone from becoming overwhelmed and the best part? Everything is under $200!

Again, I made sure to keep my picks to a minimum this year. I wanted to focus on neutral, staple pieces you can mix/match and get a ton of wear out of year after year. Like these knee high boots. I’ve had mine for years, and think they’re so flattering with skirts or dresses. See how I styled them with a skirt here! And if you remember the fan-favorite Sam Edelman lug sole boots from winter (styled here), these are nearly identical and under $70.
As much as I don’t want to think about jacket season, I’ve added a few on this years wish list. I don’t own a trench coat, but love this classic camel one with a removable hood. I also see myself getting a ton of wear out of this quilted shacket, also available in army green. For the days I’m feeling edgy, I’m loving this leather moto jacket that could be paired with this suede combat boots, and layered over this knit sweater or henley long sleeve.
Puff sleeves are all over these days, and I. Am. Here. For. It. This off-the-shoulder top is so chic and figure flattering with the peplum bottom. However, this v-neck looks like the perfect top for when you want something a little more elevated than a tee, without sacrificing comfort.
I’m a sucker for a good ribbed sweater, and I see myself wearing this one and this one year after year. I’m also eager to try this Spanx sports bra, as I’ve heard great things about it’s quality and support.
