– A new mascara I’ve been loving –

– Fresh, fall flowers –

If you’ve been following me on Instagram for awhile, you’ll know I’ve had some sensitivity to caffeine, and coffee in particular. After trial and error, I’ve found that my stomach can handle matcha powder and I’ve been loving Trader Joe’s brand! One day I’ll share exactly how I make my green tea lattes, but for now, trust me when I say this stuff is the bomb.

Besides playing at-home barista, I’ve been loving pulling out the fall sweaters since the weather has cooled down. You can read my fall sweater round-up here! I also finally pulled out the Fall/Halloween décor a couple weekends ago, and now just have the front porch/yard to conquer. We plan on having trick-or-treaters this year, so I want our curb appeal to be as festive (and spooky!) as possible. Although, I will say we prefer to go all-out for Christmas, and not so much Halloween. Are you more excited for the spooky season or the holiday season?

I recently received the dreaded email of finding out my Walt Disney World 10k in January has been… cancelled. Poo. When you first signup for a Disney race, you actually receive a training schedule for the upcoming event. For a beginner runner like myself, this was incredibly handy! I love having a structured workout plan to follow. Nonetheless, even after finding out my race was cancelled, I’ve still been following the running schedule to simply keep up with running and (hopefully) get better. I’ve recently discovered that music no longer keeps me motivated during runs, so I’ve switched to podcasts. I must say, listening to a conversation helps pass the time by much faster than music I’ve heard a million times. This podcast is by far my favorite for running.

Fall is officially here, people.. ready or not! As much as I love summer, I have a soft spot for October. The fall is absolutely beautiful here, and having the cooler temps is a nice change. What have you been doing to get into the fall spirit? I’m thinking apple picking and going through a corn maze are in my near future… typical blogger!

Thanks for reading! I hope you have a fabulous and safe weekend.
