It’s no secret that I’m a lover of delicate jewelry. A few years back, I would never even wear earrings. But now, I love anything and everything quality, dainty, and the feeling of “I’m not wearing any jewelry.” There’s something about small jewelry pieces that make me feel like a lady; classy and put-together.
When Dune Jewelry first came to me about working together, I was slightly hesitant. As I’ve said before, I really aim to only share pieces/companies with you guys that I would personally wear/shop at. After doing my research, I loved the uniqueness of Dune Jewelry pieces, and I couldn’t be more honored to wear one of their rings that fit my delicate jewelry “criteria”.
Dune Jewelry is a woman-owned, small business that specializes in creating handmade jewelry and home accents with sand and other natural elements from memorable and iconic places around the globe. For my heart ring (pictured above), I chose sand from Montego Bay, Jamaica — where Justin and I honeymooned in 2019. You’re also able to send Dune your own elements if you have some special sand, or other natural element lying around your home.
I don’t own any heirloom jewelry, so this ring is special in that it’s the first piece that actually means something to me (next to my wedding ring, of course). Not only is it a piece of memorabilia, it’s a great conversation piece, too!
Handmade in the USA, Dune Jewelry is the perfect time capsule for your adventures. With the holidays around the corner, I think a piece of Dune Jewelry would make such a beautiful, and thoughtful gift! Are you familiar with Dune Jewelry? If so, I’d love to hear what piece of jewelry you have your eye on!
