Happy first day of winter! It’s no secret that our bedroom is very neutral, and while we have everything we need, we’re slowly but surely adding pieces to give it some life. But even during the waiting/gathering process, I still like to make our bedroom as warm and welcoming as possible. To give this space a cozy feel during winter, I like to mix various textures and fabrics.
Bed sheets are a really easy way to add texture, warmth, and pattern into a space. We received these flannel sheets from Amazon for our wedding, and I love pulling them out as soon as the temps drop. The plaid is quite simple, while still catching the eye and of course, keeping us warm throughout the night.
To make our bedroom even more inviting, I love adding faux fur pillows, and a cozy throw blanket. And since we really only sleep in our bedroom, I never light candles in there. Instead, I like using a calming linen spray or diffuser.
