9 CHRISTMAS OUTFIT IDEAS AND INSPO

With Christmas being a few short days away, I wanted to create a post sharing a few outfit ideas – both casual and dressy – in case you’re needing some inspiration. A few of these outfits are from years past, but linking what I can along with similar items!

– A midi slip skirt with heels and a cozy knit sweater –

You can read the full post on this outfit here, but I love the idea of a sleek slip skirt and black heels for winter/holiday parties. Add some tights if you’re in a colder climate (like myself)!

– An all cream/white outfit with a pop of red –

Whoever says no white after Labor Day is wrong; EXTRA white after Labor Day please! An all white/cream look for winter is so chic, and all I did was pair a red bag to bring a little holiday cheer. Full post here.

– A basic sweater, dark denim, and animal print booties –

I love this outfit idea because it never goes out of style. There’s something so polished about dark denim and a cream sweater, but also super simple. A great outfit option if you’re wanting to look nice, but not super dressed up!

– Pairing a velvet top with casual denim and sock booties –

A fun, velvet top can take you a long ways. Keep it simple by pairing velvet with your favorite pair of jeans and booties!

– An easy pullover sweater, comfy jeans, and your favorite combat boots –

As much as I love getting fancied up, I feel like most families stay pretty casual come Christmas Day. If you’re wanting to ditch the sweats, but stay away from dresses or skirt, jeans and a sweater can’t be beat.

– Velvet trousers with a plaid blazer and a pop of red. –

I shared this look last year, but still own every single item and think it’d make a great holiday outfit. When doing an all black outfit, I like to mix textures (velvet) and add a pattern (blazer) or color (handbag) somehow. Read full post here.

– Another all cream/white outfit, but with a patterned blazer. –

If red or velvet isn’t your vibe, this outfit is also very holiday-esque. Again, I think creams/whites are so pretty for winter, and a plaid blazer adds some interest/dimension. I wore this outfit in spring, so probably would ditch the sandals for ankle boots. Full blog post here.

– A cozy, black knit dress with ankle boots and a pop of red. –

Can you tell that red accessories are my way of making a simple outfit festive? Well, it’s true! I think accessories are the easiest way to add some cheer to any outfit, and often a cheaper route than purchasing clothing. Full outfit post here.

– Pairing washed black denim with a plaid blouse and suede booties. –

I wore this outfit last week not only to work, but to a Christmas dinner immediately afterwards. Sock booties will carry you far during the winter/holiday season, and black denim is a closet staple!

That’s all the outfit inspo I have for today! Thanks for reading —
