Being that this blog is about navigating life and fashion at 5’9″, I figured I’d roundup my favorite tall fashion brands in one post! This way, you ladies can always easily locate my go-to fashion brands that accommodate women 5’9″ and taller. Let’s get started!

It’s no secret that A&F has stepped up their fashion game; both in style and size inclusivity. This is where I typically shop for denim and the occasional dress. Long inseam aside, Abercrombie also has a “curvy” line which I also appreciate. This means there’s an additional 2″ in the hips to accommodate for those women who have a smaller waist to hip ratio!

For quality activewear, business casual bottoms, skirts, shorts, and more, Athleta has you covered! They have a large variety of tall options for all of your performance/outdoor activity needs.
I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed with clothing from Banana Republic. They have really great business professional clothing, and while some of their pieces can be a sticker shock, they almost always have sales going on.

I like to think of Gap as the middle sister of Banana Republic and Old Navy. Being under the same family tree, they all have similar styles at different price points. Gap is one I often forget about, but love their tall options once I rediscover the brand.

Every now and then I’ll find myself on J.Crew’s website with the “tall” filter on. Besides a handful of jean and dress options, they have a variety of tall blazers, shirts, and jackets. Another good retailer to search for business clothing.

I’ve been a fan of Loft’s for years now, because their site is easily navigable and fairly affordable. In addition to business professional clothing, they also have really cute dresses and skirts. The only downside is they don’t have as many tall options as other retailers.

For affordable fashion, I love Old Navy. They have a good selection of tall options, and you’ll very rarely spend over $50 on one item.
From comfortable business pants to ultimate stretch leggings, Spanx has a variety of tall-friendly inseams. While on the pricier side, they always offer free shipping and free returns, making that commitment a little less daunting if you end up not loving your purchase.
A few other tall-inclusive retailers: Albion, Alloy Apparel, Amalli Talli, American Tall, Ann Taylor, ASOS, Long Tall Sally, Madewell, Miss Guided
Do you know of any other tall fashion brands I should add to the list? I’d love to know!
