The one and only perk of colder temps is being able to layer all the cozy pieces that not only keep you warm, but are stylish as well. It’s no secret that I’ve been loving this sweater vest since the day it came in the mail, and nothing has changed. The beige, neutral color allows for effortless wear and the classic, knitted yarn adds texture and interest. Because the vest is quite boxy on it’s own, I’ve added a faux python belt to accentuate my waist, and add some pattern.
This would make a cozy, chic Thanksgiving Day outfit — but of course, the heels are totally optional. For more Thanksgiving outfit inspo, check out these posts:
sweater vest (runs large, size down) | collared shirt (oversized fit) | denim (TTS) | bag is years old, but super similar styles here, here and here | bag scarf is old, loving this one or this one | similar block heels here and here | pinky signet ring | similar belt here and here
I know sweater vests sound like something your grandpa would wear, or something you’d see in the 90’s (click here for a laugh), but they’ve come a long way since then. For a more relaxed, yet still polished look, pair this look with leggings and a cute pair of flats. Would you wear a sweater vest? I’d love to hear! XX, E
