You guys know how much I love summer, and I’m definitely not ready to let it go just yet. But when personal styling is your job — and you’re sourcing clothing for clients almost every day — it’s hard not to notice the new fall collections slowly but surely making their way in. So, while I’m still fully embracing summer, I thought it might be fun to share a few pieces I personally have my eye on as we start thinking about the cooler months ahead.
I’ve always drooled over designer footwear, but I’m always left wondering: are they actually comfortable enough to justify the hefty price tag? I’ve read so many reviews of these YSL loafers saying the leather is buttery soft and that they don’t rub or cause blisters — which definitely has me intrigued.
And this merlot color? It’s gorgeous and surprisingly versatile, acting almost like a neutral. These are officially on my designer wish list!
Since we get all four seasons here in Idaho, I like having a variety of outerwear on hand for whatever weather comes our way. I spotted this dark brown raincoat on Shopbop and immediately fell in love. The rich brown color feels a little more elevated than your typical rain jacket, and it’s practical, too — it also has a removable hood that can be added for those truly wet days.
I recently did a massive closet clean-out of my own, and the number of sweaters I got rid of was honestly astonishing. Needless to say, I’m being much more particular about what earns a spot in my closet now — and this sweater might just make the cut.
It’s 100% cotton, comes in a ton of colors, and I especially love this rich brown for fall. The roll neck also makes it feel extra cozy without being overly bulky. I’d size up 1–2 sizes for that perfectly oversized, comfy fit.
