I’ve been looking forward to this Friday Favorites because today is my birthday! So, I bought some white roses on Sunday to kick off this special week. They’ve opened up quite nicely and bring a smile to my face every time I walk into our living room. I don’t have much luck with roses lasting, but we’ll see how long I can keep these beauties alive and well!
In other news, Justin and I did some exploring this past weekend and went up to Boise Bogus Basin ski and recreational area. They have a mountain coaster that we hadn’t yet tried until this past weekend. Sometimes I think I’ve done everything there is to do in our city, but then new activities present themselves, like a “roller coaster” in the mountains and I’m like, “think again, Ellen.”
Adventures aside, part of my Nordstrom Anni. sale order came in, including these Nordstrom decaf espresso beans. If you’ve been following along with me on IG, you’ll know I cut out caffeine at the beginning of the year. I found that it upset my stomach, gave me headaches, and just wasn’t agreeing with me overall. After switching to decaf, I feel so much better and I really just drink it for the delicious coffee taste. All that to say, I’m excited to try this espresso because we typically only buy Starbucks beans. Besides exploration and coffee, I’ve been on the search for more art for our home. I’ve found Etsy has great art for less, it’s just a matter of printing the images yourself and framing them. I have my eye on this set for our half bath and this pair for our bedroom. As for the kitchen, I love this simple coffee mug, and this Bon Appetite print. I personally find art to be daunting, so I haven’t quite made the plunge on anything just yet.
