— At our friends local wedding reception (they got married in Hawaii in February). —
— The prettiest bouquet of flowers I got to take home from the wedding reception. —
— A bouquet of greenery from Justin’s 10 year high school reunion. —
— My thriving orchid (peep the newest growing stem)! —
— The $25 beach/pool tote I hope to put to use while we’re in CA. —
Cheers, it’s nearly the weekend! And a long one, for that matter! Right now Justin and I are currently in sunny California soaking up the joy of Disney, the sounds of crashing waves, and enjoying a mini vacation together. I haven’t been to CA since COVID hit, and it’s so nice to be back, and mask-free! I never thought this day would come.
This past weekend Justin had his 10 year high school reunion that I tagged along for. Because we both went to the same private school, I actually already knew everyone in his class. Now, I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing? After my recent poll on IG, it seems most of you haven’t or will not be attending your 10 year reunion, and I honestly can’t say I would either. But perhaps I’ll feel differently once (or should I say if) that invite comes in the mail.
In keeping up with the weekend of parties, we also attended our good friends wedding reception here in town. It was held at Boise’s beautiful Hillcrest Country Club where the view of the mountains never gets old (reference the first photo). We ate, drank, and we be merry, that’s for sure!
If you’re a follower of mine on IG, you’ll know we recently had a mamma bird create her nest in our front door wreath. I am happy to announce that the babies have fled the nest so I’m now able to cleanup their mess. They get a 0/10 stars for cleanliness, that’s for sure.
Thanks so much for reading, and I can’t wait to share more CA content with you all. Have a happy and safe Fourth of July!
