TGIF, my friends! Much like the rest of the US, we got hit with some serious snow this past week/weekend and I’m here to say I do not approve. Luckily, I’ll be in sunny Florida by the time you’re reading this. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families in the south who are losing electricity, heating, and water — so scary! Texas is not built for snow, evidently.

This week I’ve been enjoying my Valentine’s roses, and it reminds me how much I love fresh flowers in the house. They bring such pretty color and liveliness to any space. Now, here’s to hoping the roses are still alive when we get back from our trip! I’m always looking for tips and tricks to extend the lives of flowers (specifically roses), so if you have any… help a girl out!

During the insane snow day last weekend I watched the Paris Hilton documentary, which I highly recommend. She talks about some childhood trauma, that’s just… yikes! You can watch it on YouTube here. I love knowing the behind-the-scenes lives of celebrities, but I’m so bad at watching their documentaries. The Brittany Spears’ doc has been all the talk these days, so maybe that’ll be the next one I watch.

I’ve made these healthy oatmeal chocolate chip cookies twice now, and I can’t recommend them enough! I just ordered this piece of art from the Target x Studio McGee collection, and these high rise straight leg jeans might be my new favorite (under $40!!!).

Like many of us, I’m watching the snow melt day by day and waiting on the warmth of the sun to come and stay. My spring dresses and sandals are whispering my name! Check out my spring clothing picks here and here.

Thanks so much for reading, take care — Xx, E
