Wow! It’s been it’s been awhile since I last chatted with you guys in a Friday Favorite’s post. October was a whirlwind, and with the holidays starting as soon as next week, I don’t see a whole lot of relaxation happening in the near future, lol.
October was back to back travel with driving to visit family friends in Bozeman, MT and then hopping on a plane to Dallas, TX to spend a few days with my best friend in Waco. I’d never been to Montana or Texas before, so they were both such great trips with great company. It was also my very first time flying alone, which was slightly nerve-racking (okay, very nerve-racking) but I powered through! A special thanks to Dramamine and a rocking playlist.
Last weekend we got our outdoor Christmas décor hung up, and finally finished tackling the inside this week. If I’m being 100% honest, I wasn’t really in the Christmas-decorating mood this year, which is hard for me to admit because I love Christmas so much. We put half as many Christmas decorations inside as we’ve done in years past, and maybe it’s because I’m already bored with our decorations? I’m on the hunt for a new tree skirt and stocking hooks, so if you have any recommendations, let me know!
It’s a short work week next week because of Thanksgiving, so I’m looking forward to a few days off. I’m also running my very first in-person Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning, so I’m mentally preparing for that. I’m also planning to share a killer Black Friday sales list next week, so be on the lookout for that!
Thanks so much for reading, and I hope you have a joyous Thanksgiving break with your loved ones!
