FRIDAY FAVORITE’S | HERMES SANDALS

– Consistently wearing my Hérmes Oran sandals now that it’s warming up. – (similar sandals and handbags)

–  Trying out a new shade of my favorite tinted lip balm from NARS. – (color fast lane)

– Weekend coffee dates with Justin. It’s a bit of a drive for us, but we love Java! Yes, the whipped cream is worth the extra money. –

– Hosting Easter lunch and having tulip arrangements for the women in my family to take home! –

– Ditching my Easter dress idea and going for pants and a fuzzy coat because it was THAT cold. – (outfit deets)

TGIF, ladies! Just when we thought spring weather was here to stay… we’re back to 50 degree temps and rain. If you’re fortunate enough to live in an area that has a true spring — I’m talking 70’s and sun — never take it for granted! I swear spring doesn’t really start in Idaho until the middle of May. So while I’m slowly pulling out my sandals, my jeans are here to stay for a few more weeks.

This week has been pretty typical for us at the McAfee Household and that’s not a bad thing. Now that it’s been staying lighter in the evenings, Justin and I are able to shoot content after we’re both off of work and that’s been a huge blessing. I know it may look effortless, but it takes a lot of time and energy into shooting content… any influencer or blogger can vouch for that! We shot some beautiful images (if I do say so myself) that will be live right here on the blog next week. You won’t want to miss it!

We’re headed across the country to NY in a couple weeks for my half marathon, yes, but also a vacation. I’ve been shopping a lot lately with our trip in mind. Since I don’t expect it to be too warm when we’re there, I snagged this long sleeve dress that I think will look so cute with sneakers for walking around. I also grabbed this striped tank that could easily be worn alone or paired under a black blazer.

Weather permitting, I couldn’t pass up this mini tiered dress! So cute and I love the open back. Crossing my fingers it works. I know we’ll be doing a lot of shopping when we’re there, too, so I’m trying to contain myself! I am, however, still on the hunt for a good pair of *cute* walking sandals that will keep my feet comfy all day long. If you live in the city, or are always on-foot, I’d love to hear what footwear you’ve invested in! I have my eye on something like this.

I have my last long run of my training program tomorrow — about 11 miles — before I take the workload back a little bit. Finally! You can read my most recent running update here. Besides that, this weekend should be pretty low-key. Praying for decent weather! If spring is on your mind, like it is mine, check out this post that I published on Wednesday! Thanks for reading —
