GINGHAM DRESS

One of my favorite things about summer is pulling out all my dresses that don’t get worn during the winter. I’ve had this little gingham number for a couple years now, and I think it’s time to give it the attention it deserves.

While prints aren’t usually my “thing”, I think black and white gingham works well because of the neutral tones; even if the pattern itself is a bit “loud.” I especially love the feminine details from the bow, to the ruffles around the neckline and hem. To give a more modern edge, I paired it with geometric shapes you’ll find in my handbag and sandals. I feel like I should be headed to a picnic in the park, and oh, how I wish that were true.

I love this time of year where I find myself reaching for more dresses and less pants. Be prepared to see me styling a lot more dresses around here! Thanks for reading —
