Welcome to Friday, friends! I’ve recently obtained a handful of new-to-me beauty products and wanted to share a few on today’s post.
I’ve been using this lotion for awhile now, and the brand was kind enough to send me a few of their other best-sellers. All of their products are organic certified; meaning no harmful chemicals, toxic fertilizers or GMO’s. I actually just tried the hair detangler/leave-in conditioner and could tell how smoothly my brush combed through my hair. I’m looking forward to trying the other products — look out for a complete blog post about Vivaiodays!
This liquid lipstick lasts all day long, although I think I chose the wrong shade for my skin tone. If you follow me on IG, I posted about the liquid lipstick and how I thought the shade I bought (“patina”) was a little out of my comfort zone. Color aside, I think the formula is magnificent and I’m on the hunt for a new shade. One that I’m comfortable wearing in my day-to-day life.
If you’re an Amazon lover like myself, I stumbled across this liquid exfoliant* the other day and was shocked to see it has thousands of 5-star reviews. After using it a handful of times now, I can honestly say I see my skin getting brighter and smoother over time. At first, it did purge my skin a little bit — meaning a few zits came to the surface. But now that the gunk is cleared out, I can truly see a difference in the appearance of my skin, and I’m so thrilled! *I snagged the 1oz for $10 to try before I took the plunge on the big bottle.
Every time I walk into Trader Joe’s, I always find something new to try. I came across their hyaluronic acid and for $7 (ish), I couldn’t pass it up. I typically use this brand (also inexpensive), but thought I’d give TJ a chance. So far so good!
Besides beauty, I’ve been buying a few jewelry pieces; like this fun band for some extra sparkle, and these safety pin earrings. Also have this cardigan coming in the mail, and this basic crossbody bag.
