I think summer is my favorite season to dress for, and because we’re now into June, I thought I’d roundup a variety of shorts for summer. We’re going to be talking about my personal favorite denim shorts, linen shorts for those unbearably hot days, and a few shorts on my wish list. Let’s get into it —

I know they’re an investment, but AGOLDE shorts are worth it in my opinion. The denim is really great quality and I love this pair in particular because of the longer inseam. I’ve been eyeing this cuffed pair for awhile, too. I should note that all AGOLDE shorts are 100% cotton so they won’t stretch, but they do loosen with a few wears. I sized down 1 size!
For more affordable options, I really love Abercrombie and Madewell shorts. Last year I made a blog post about my favorite Abercrombie shorts, and I still reach for them. A&F also has a curvy line, so if you’re like me and have a wider hip to waist ratio, I recommend checking their ‘curve love’ line.
I recently invested in these high waist linen shorts and they’re so comfortable (and long enough)! For a less expensive option, H&M has a variety of pull-on linen shorts, like these.
Having a nice pair of tailored/pleated shorts in your closet will take you far this summer! I also really like the sailor-vibes from this white pair.
