Oh March, how nice it is to finally see you! It’s been a hot minute since I last shared a fashion post, so I’m so excited to delve back into it today. Up until last fall, I had never owned a pair of white denim and now that’s the color I find myself reaching for the most. It’s clean, bright, sleek and perfect as we transition into spring.
You may have heard the fashion rule “never wear white after Labor Day”, but I personally find white to be just as pretty in the winter as it is in the spring/summer. Because we aren’t quite officially into spring yet (18 more days, but who’s counting) I wanted to style these white jeans with both winter and spring in mind. To bring the light and airiness of spring into the equation, I chose to layer a light beige sweater underneath a darker blazer. To kick it up a notch, I broke out a pair of sandals for the first time this year to let know spring I’m ready for her!
I think a brown/nude bag would look incredibly chic with this outfit, or even a white bag, like this one. However, since we’re mixing seasons here, I stuck with my go-to black bucket bag to tie in with the darker blazer.

You may remember this blazer from this post and this post, and not only is it a great pop of pattern, it adds a little extra warmth for those chilly spring days! For a 65-70 degree day, ditch the blazer and swap out the black bag for a lighter color. Ta-da, a light and bright spring outfit!
