Happy Wednesday! For today’s post I’m sharing my new favorite pair of shorts that are so affordable and full coverage. I purchased these shorts from Abercrombie a few weeks ago and have been LIVING in them ever since. In case you haven’t caught on yet, I’m 5’9″. It can be a challenge to find bottoms that are long enough, particularly shorts. I’m constantly struggling with shorts fitting like underwear. The rise is never high enough, or they’re too tight around my thighs. Back in the day, I would’ve reached for my tightest fitting shorts, but nowadays, I’m most comfortable in shorts that are looser, yet still flattering.
Enter these shorts! The inseam is 4″, they have a high rise, and I particularly love the slits on the sides (this allows for more movability!). And to top the greatness off, they offer this style in regular and curvy fit. The curvy fit is made with an extra 2″ of room in the hips, which is a godsend! I know I don’t have the curviest shape, but I bought the curvy ones because I like a looser fit in the leg area. I’m wearing a size 27 from the curvy collection for reference.

Overall, I’ve been really impressed with Abercrombie’s clothes these days. They offer a lot of great basic pieces for fairly affordable prices without compromising the quality. They are also one of my favorite retailers that offer TALL options in their jeans, as well as their skirts and dresses. Bonus: almost every time I’m on their website, they have a sale going on. I can’t turn down a good sale!
