Fall is in full swing and I’m pulling out all of my sweaters, boots, jeans, and jackets. My favorite thing about dressing for cooler temps is all the layering; mixing and matching fabrics and prints to create texture and visual interest. Slip skirts and slip dresses are very in-style these days and I’ve always veered away from them because the silk material (real or not) never seems to be a flattering material on myself. It can be really clingy, it’s not stretchy, and not very forgiving. After looking at this slip skirt from Target for months, I decided to try it for myself because a) easy returns and b) didn’t break the bank.

New week, new blog post! Today I wanted to share a couple summer skirts with you all, as I’ve recently become a skirt gal. I’ve always been hesitant with skirts because they’re either too short, or too “old school” for my liking. But, not anymore! Now that I know where to shop for skirts, I find myself being drawn towards them more and more. They’re perfect for summer, and can be paired with heels, sneakers, tshirts, sweaters, and so much more.
