Hey everyone, welcome back! It’s been a hot minute since I last talked about travel (#COVID), but today I’ve got a short post about Sun Valley, ID for you guys! I’ve lived in Boise, ID for 24 years and had never visited Sun Valley until this past weekend. It’s absolutely breathtaking, and I now understand why it’s a destination for so many people (celebrities included).
If you missed my Insta post from Sunday, I mentioned that over half of Justin and I’s travels involve golf tournaments, this one included! Justin played in the Idaho State Amateur at Elkhorn and I was able to tag along. I actually enjoy watching his golf tournaments because 1) I get to see new places and 2) golf is a quiet sport. It’s peaceful, serene, and spacious. Unlike sports in arenas, you have the wide open earth to disperse from other people and can take in the breathtaking views in peace, LOL.
We were fortunate enough to stay at the Sun Valley Lodge where we ate, drank and shopped. The Konditorei has some of the best breakfast and oat milk lattes. Just sayin’.
We were only gone for a few days, but it was so nice to get away and enjoy some normalcy again! Have you braved any travels recently? If so, where?
