We’re into the first week of September, and I can’t stress enough that I’m not ready for summer to end. Nice, warm days are so precious to me and I hate to see them go. That being said, the wheels are turning in my head as we approach the autumn solstice and I’m excited to bring in rich browns, animal print and suede pieces. Let’s start with the pieces I’ve already added to my wardrobe. I just got these jeans in and while pricey, they’re SO good. 100% cotton, button-fly and a they graze the floor on my 5’9 height. Dark (like, really dark) wash is in this season and I love it. It’s incredibly chic to wear with a basic white tee, or dressed up with an animal print blouse.
On my birthday last week I did some shopping and snagged this horse-bit bag from Anthropologie. It’s giving Gucci, without the Gucci price tag. I also bought this leopard print silk scarf and she’s gorgeous. I envision tying it on my handbag or wearing it around my neck this fall. It looks way more expensive than it is!
If you just add one thing to your wardrobe this fall, try adding an animal print belt to your basic outfits. I styled this leopard belt in a reel and it’s so versatile even though it’s leopard.
Dark brown is all over my socials and I think it’s a beautiful color on everyone. This slouchy, off-the-shoulder sweater screams “cool girl”. These leather brown boots are so sleek, and how trendy are these brown Sambas?
