Hello and welcome back to FFN! This week as been an emotional rollercoaster for me as my anxiety has been heightening lately for various reasons. As much as I’ve been trying to put into practice what I’ve learned through therapy, sometimes my emotions just fall apart and I’m left feeling out of control. I’m a lover of quotes, so the quote that I stumbled upon earlier this week that has been a great reminder: “if it costs you your peace, it’s too expensive.” So I’m learning to let go of the things/people in my life that have been costing me my peace.
On a lighter note, I’ve been eyeing fall fashion even if I’m not in the mental headspace to fully transition yet. You can check out this post and this post from earlier in the week about fall transitional pieces!
This weekend is the Albertsons Boise Open golf tournament that we’ll be watching in-person, as well as the Train concert that’s happening Saturday. I know so many Train songs so I’m very excited about it! My best friend is also coming into town from TX so I’m looking forward to much needed girl time and catching up.
My birthday is also around the corner so I’m looking forward to family and friend gatherings as I turn 27. Do you have any fun weekend plans? I’d love to hear about them! Thanks for reading —
