Fall is in full swing and I’m pulling out all of my sweaters, boots, jeans, and jackets. My favorite thing about dressing for cooler temps is all the layering; mixing and matching fabrics and prints to create texture and visual interest. A fun top is an easy way to add visual interest into your outfit, like this leopard top. It has a high neck making it appropriate for the office or church, with a subtle flutter sleeve. Look 3
For this look, I did something a little different. My “skirt” is actually a dress that I layered a sweater over! Rather than leaving the dress as is, layering an oversized sweater over the top adds texture like I talked about earlier. To make sure I didn’t lose my shape amongst all the fabric, I used an oversized rubber band (yep, that’s right!) as a hidden belt and fluffed the sweater to hide the elastic. Ta-da!
