I originally bought these $30 pants to wear in my day-to-day life, but quickly realized I love them more as a coverup piece than a standalone. They’re a lightweight, breezy material with pockets! I’m wearing a medium.

*Note: When I bought them they grazed the floor, but sadly, after one wash they shrunk a few inches. Dang it!

I’ve recently decided that I just LOOK more alive when I wear color. This doesn’t mean I need to wear the rainbow everyday, but even something as simple as a bright sweater makes happier than wearing, say, gray. I didn’t think I was a fan of the denim maxi skirt trend until I tried it myself! This one from J.Crew has a little stretch and a great length for us tall girls. Plus, I think the black denim can be easily dressed up or down and is a bit more chic than blue denim. What are your thoughts?!

I bought this Amazon slip skirt in black and have worn it so much, I thought the navy color would be great for spring/summer. They’re extremely affordable, have an elastic waist, and are nice and thick. I wear a medium!
